The Shimano Deore SL-M5100 Mono shifter is designed for left-hand clamp mounting and for controlling the front derailleur in drivetrains with two chainrings.

As the name " Mono" suggests, it is possible to shift up and down with just one lever. The SL-M5100 is characterised by its 2-Way Release function, i.e. it can be operated with the thumb or with the index finger.
