Product Details

The Shimano ST-RX820-LA brake lever from the GRX RX820 gravel series is an STI, but instead of shifting, you use it to control a mechanical dropper post. It is mounted on the left side of the drop bars and is perfect for 1x setups, which only require a regular shift/brake lever on the right.

The integration of the remote function into the brake lever is not only practical, it also makes for a tidier cockpit. You have a maximum of 10mm of cable stroke for compatibility with many dropper post options. As far as braking is concerned, it provides more control on mixed surfaces and with ease of use. The lever and lever body ergonomics have been specially adapted for gravel use and for flared handlebars.

  • Hydraulic disc brake lever for gravel use with remote function for mechanical dropper posts
  • Uncluttered cockpit reduces stress, increases riding pleasure
  • Great brake control on mixed terrain
  • Gravel-specific lever and lever body ergonomics
  • Reach adjustment (10.9 mm) with 2 mm hex tool
  • Faster brake contact thanks to Servo Wave
  • Anti-slip coated brake lever
  • Bracket optimised for flared handlebars
  • 10mm cable pull
  • Optislick cable for actuating the seatpost, with a minimal galvanic coating for more efficient cable routing and corrosion resistance
