Day 3 Specialized Dealers Event August 07 2014

Well it's all over bar the travel. Day 3 at the Specialized trade show is really the business end of the deal. No more thrashing bikes in the Brisbane bush it's time for some final presentations and the nailing down of orders and the stock wish list.

There has been a wide spread grumble about the omission of the new Ohlins, triple clamp equipped Enduro 650b Evo from NZ. Some of you will have seen this bike in our pre release Facebook posts, we think it's an awesome machine for the aggressive Wellingtonian descender. A bike that would also kill in Queenstown & Rotorua's downhill trails while maintaining a little more agility and pedal efficiency than a full blown downhill rig (something Aaron Gwin is clearly aware of too). I am stoked to say that this has been heard and heeded by Specialized NZ and this awesome bike will now grace New Zealand dirt. Numbers will be limited though folks, so be in quick.

Another highlight of the day was the women's presentation. Specialized have long been market leaders in women's specific cycling and in 2015 their commitment continues to grow. Disc brakes on the Ruby, the incredible Alias tri, the brand new Era high performance mountain bike, a huge range of accessories and the stunning new collaboration between the big S and Lululemon (the enormous yoga brand and cycling team). All this will see women's cycling well reinforced and supported into the new year. There has never been a better time for women to get out and enjoy this sport we all love so much.
