The EW-AD305 conversion adapter is a plug adapter used to connect an EW-SD300 Di2 power cable to the older EW-SD50 cable type. This is required, for example, if you combine older time trial components such as ST-R9160 or ST-R8060 with the Dura-Ace or Ultegra Di2 12-speed groupsets.

Another example is the use of the MU-UR510 motor unit on your Di2 hub gears. The adapter can also be used for e-bike wiring with a DU-EP800, EP801 or EP600 motor. It has an input for EW-SD300 on one side and an input for EW-SD50 on the other.
