| How long will it take for my order to arrive? |
If stock is available at the time of order, expect a delivery within 3 working days. If goods are required to be sourced from our suppliers, expect 3-5 working days for delivery. Deliveries are made Monday through Friday only. PLEASE NOTE: Rural and some residential areas may require an additional day(s) delivery time. Refer to our Shipping page for additional information. |

| What are the delivery charges? |
$5.50 - Delivery within Wellington (includes Paramata, Porrirua and the Hutt Valley).
$9.50 - Delivery to North Island.
$11.50 - Delivery to South Island.
$35.00 - Delivery fee for oversize items, New Zealand wide.
Additional charges for bulky items may apply. This fee is listed on the product page where applicable.

| Do you ship to PO Box addresses? |
| Yes we can. This is only an option if goods ordered are able to fit in an A4 sized delivery bag. Refer to our Shipping page for additional information. |
| How do I track my shipment? |
| Currently our orders are shipped via various couriers. You can track your order by entering your tracking code (provided in your Order Dispatched confirmation email). Refer to our Shipping page for additional information. |
| Can I pick up my order from the store? |

| How to Order |
Placing an order with Burkes Cycles online store is a simple process. Browse our site adding items to your basket as required. When you add to the basket, you will remain on the same page to continue shopping. To view the basket contents, click the Basket link at the top right of your screen. When you are ready to purchase, click on Checkout. You can choose to to create a customer account or continue without creating an account. The advantage of an account is that all your name and address details are retained for future purchases, a time-saving feature for you. Enter details requested and continue to secure payment screen to enter credit card details. An email confirming the order has been placed will be sent to you. Additional emails may be sent if any issues arise in any way. A 'Dispatch Confirmation' email will be sent to you when the goods leave our building. |

Burkes Cycles, and our suppliers, are committed to providing quality products and service. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase upon receipt, please follow the procedures below to ensure a prompt replacement, credit or refund. In the case of a fault or defect, please ensure you contact Customer Service on (04) 387 3036, extension 205, or email orders@burkescycles.co.nz before returning the goods.

- Complete the returns form enclosed with your packing slip. If you do not have your packing slip, please include a note with your name, address, e-mail address and reason for return

We do not sell our mailing list, nor do we disclose private information to any other person or company. Occasionally we may contact you to obtain further information or to offer other products or services that we feel may interest you. Should you prefer not to be contacted, please let us know and we will ensure that your name is withheld.
With a customer account you can alter your personal data, including changing your email address, password, phone number, etc. This also enables you to save a delivery address which we will store against your profile.
You are responsible for all actions taken with your user name, email address and password, therefore we do not recommend that you disclose your password. | Stock Availability |
| Burkes Cycles has a large range of stock however not all items are always available ex store. Our aim is to supply your order in a timely fashion however if a supply issue arises then we will contact you as soon as possible - items may only be delayed by an additional day or two. If items are out of stock, will will also look for comparable items as options. If items are delayed indefinitely and no alternative is found, the order can be cancelled. |
| Warranty |
Warranty claims cover any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing process. Damage or faults occurring as a result of misuse, accident, or wear and tear is not covered by our warranty policy. If the product is still under warranty then the repair will be at our expense including the freight to return the repaired or replacement product. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold in New Zealand. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.
Fair Trading Act 1986
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in-store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.
